The idea of having a sustainable/eco-friendly water bottle came from the frustration that many Nairobians experience with the littering of single-use water bottles. Hydration is a
necessity but I felt there should be a sustainable alternative. The whole time I kept wishing that someone would come up with an invention or product that could help reduce the number of single-use plastic bottles we have around. I decided that I could do something about it. It was a wish which turned into a reality.
How we started
Wish Bottles was started as a solo entrepreneur but quickly grew into a team with the support of friends and family. In 2019 most deliveries were done by the founder to have a talk to customers and have a feel of what they wanted.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, August 30th 2020, we hit our one-year anniversary and our biggest sales yet because of the ovewhelming support we get from our #wishbabes .
